Knowing the

Users

Drip is a social media platform for streetwear fashion lovers. It’s an app where the users will be able to share their streetwear style on the app and get inspired by other people’s posts.

Ideation

Streetwear culture is all about community. The culture would be lifeless without any connection with other people. What if we can bring the concept into an app? What if there is a “community” just for the streetwear culture? That’s where I started with DRIP.

Research

Research was done to gather information about the streetwear people and the problems they are having, and the following are the insights.

  • Users want to express their individuality and creativity by sharing their styles.

  • Streetwear culture is based on connection. Users want a community to share their thoughts, tips, and trends.

  • Users want inspiration from how others compose their outfits.

  • Users want to earn acceptance from others.

Why Social Media?

Streetwear culture is all about showing off and connecting with others. Users search for places to share their styles and connect with others.

Streetwear is a lifestyle, not just a clothing style. It’s a way to connect with like-minded individuals and express creativity. A streetwear-concentrated social media platform is perfect for sharing a lifestyle.

Drip was designed to satisfy that need. It is created to be both inspirational and connective.

Sharing Items

Users can not only share their styles but also the specific items they are wearing through the tag feature.
